TwitchCon 2017

 
 

From the most established streamers, to those brand new to the scene, to the viewers, chatters, and emote spammers, we’ve all had a hand in creating something special. TwitchCon is a celebration of those stories and a showcase for the creators who will write the next chapters. This convention has grown from an annual event first starting in 2015, to being a biannual event traveling all the way to Europe in 2019.

Our stage, your story.

Led the design and execution of the onsite branding system, taking on the roles of an experiential designer, graphic designer, and production artist. Assisted in art directing the photography style and illustrations – each customized per deliverable. Largely contributed to the overall visual identity, online marketing campaign, the main stage, and website.

 
 
 
 

The Visual Identity

Aimed to showcase the Twitch community as the star of the show, while Twitch plays support. The language relied heavily on illustration and bold copy, highlighting the Twitch tone of voice. The zany illustration style is a reflection of our diverse community and different Twitch verticals – Gaming, Just Chatting, Food and Drink, etc.
